Let’s chat about the beloved City of Traverse, Michigan.

First, remember, this is a Mitchy perspective.

Traverse City is Pumping, Right Now.

In Hawaii, when the surf is up, the beach and town have a buzz.

Traverse City has a buzz, currently. Simply put.

Last week’s FNL (Friday Night Live) was Quality. Uki had 50+ people, ages 5-80, repping out Trap Bar Deadlifts, ON FRONT STREET, during the course of 3 hours, then enjoying a cold sparking water after.

The locals are loving it. It’s a good time to be Alive in T.C. A bit less touristy and some cool things happening that remind us of Traverse City. Nice execution on the behalf of DCTA and DDA for FNL and other events.

We, at Uki, are having a lot of fun in this back alley behind The Cooks’House on the East of Front Street. It is a very fun place to be. The Cooks’ House, Little Fleet, and Front Street Tattoo are The Legends of the corner. Chef Eric and Chef Jenn are Jedi’s (tell ’em Mitchy said it). Matt Stafford does some really cool work too. And us bum trainers are next door trying to steal any free legendary-ness that we can. Actually. Sometimes, during an evening session, we’ll keep the door open just to catch any Cooks’ House smells and Little Fleet live music that we can. It’s pretty Legendary.
